I saw advertised somewhere EIR neck blanks. My guess is this is for electric guitars but curuious - is this an option for an acoustic guitar? Interesting idea of rosewood neck with rosewood back and sides>????

Rich,
Del Langejans makes a lot of his necks for acoustics from Indian Rosewood.
His website is www.langejansguitars.com.
In the past people have used them for classicals and steel strings.

Grizzly has them for $49.00. They are very carvable but of the 2 I got I sent
the first one back because the grain was so wavy I felt there would be some
serious movement. 14 degrees is pushing it for the headstock once you
joint it.
