Hi everyone!

I've just recently stumbled upon this forum and I have to say that I'm nearly addicted (I could quit if I wanted to ).  It's been pretty cool seeing what other people have been building.  Here are the pictures of my first.  It took me about 5 mos. to build using pretty much every spare minute my wife would allow me.  I'm very happy with how it's turned out and I can't wait to build again.  Maybe a steel string next time.

On that note, I was wondering if anyone has any opinions to share about sitka vs. italian vs. carpathian spruce in terms of tonal qualities and projection.  Also, would using ziricote or koa instead of E.I. Rosewood change the overall sound much?

Anyway, here's the pics.

Welcome Clinton. This is a great place to be. Really looking forward to seeing your guitar.

When you get the picture uploading worked out, would you mind putting a return after each picture? That way things don't spread out and we need to scroll across to read things.

P.S. Sorry about that first post.  I don't know why it went all horizontal like that.  It was my first ever, anywhere.
