Peter,

A beautiful first guitar!!! I sent for those plans, and after seeing yours', I'm definitely making that my next guitar.

But I'm moving over the next couple of months, so I'm cut off from any more guitar work in the meantime. I'm suffering...

Congratulations!! I looks great and has to feel very satisfying. Even the flaws and mistakes are an important part of learning to build guitars as it drives you to do things better with each guitar. The things that you went back and reworked are all part of the lessons we learn with each build.

Since you stated what your second guitar is going to be it proves that like all of the rest of us are now completely hooked.

Take good notes with each build so you can document things that you may not remember later and enjoy the sound of the guitar as it matures.

You are off to a great start and as you have already found, this is a cool place to hang out to see what others are building.

Nice work Peter. Youve done especially well with your first French Polishing job.

Cheers Martin
