The tape is actually hiding two deep chisel gouges that go all the way
through the back! I figured a little tape would hold it all together



Truthfully, this is a little tip I picked up from dear ol' Hesh.
It's a piece of mylar that is taped over the label to keep it from getting
damaged during the rest of the construction and finishing phases.
On #2, when I was wet sanding, I had water drops fall directly on the label
and ended up having to try and get it out of there and then apply a new
one. Thought this idea was well worth trying.

For #4 I was thinking of building somethin out of some of the goodies
from the swap meet.

I was thinking, wouldn't it be cool to have a thread where people could
post builds that were directly a result of the swap?

Arnt and Andy,

The wood used on this one was ribbon mahogany on the top back &
sides. The binding is nicely figured walnut and the end graft and heel cap
are claro walnut cutoffs from my previous 2 builds.
