Lance, just throwing this out. It seems the auctions basically top out in four or five days. Since someone is laying out a bunch of cash for the new server, won't you need the cash a little faster?

Anyway, the new item I offered is still available to you. Someone will find it useful, I'm sure. Here is my point. Why not move the auctions along a little faster by going for one week? We may run out of offerings but I bet you don't.

And there will always be a good cause out there whether a new server, tsunami relief, a luthier needing a hand doing a good deed. The auction is a cool tool, let's use it more often.

Good idea Bruce,
I really thought to hold it to every two weeks as to not burn it out. But your right someone (ME) did lay out some cash for the server, and id like nothing more that to pay it off asap.
Ill try the weekly auctions after the current on is over.

Thanks
LK

I'm with Bruce on this...why not step up the auctions to every week until the server is payed off?

Lots of folks won't be interested in a particular item, others will and they will bid.

By not dragging it out, there is a greater possibility too that someone will get a better deal on the item.

Since you've sprung for this baby, we need to help pitch in, by donating items and bidding when we are interested. I like not setting a minimum bid price too, an auction should be an auction.

Anyway, I'm sure folks will want to get involved helping to pay for the server, even if it's a cash donation to the PayPal button you've cleverly hid somewhere. Where is that thing anyway?

Bruce,

Great idea. Nothing like a good auction to get folks interested. Only thing better is more auctions!

Jeff
