Looks like Ebony from the pictures.

Maybe a darker bridge would work out better as the binding and the FB and head plate are all darker.

Do you have a darker bridge that would match the other appointments we can see?

Great looking bridge and I really like the character of the wood.

IMHO, I'd rather see it match the FB. Sorry to be the contrarian

i like the bridge on its own as well, and it is an excellent match with the b&s.

but also agree that in this case a better match with fb and head plate would look better. it seems sort of disjointed to have the fittings widely divergent in colour.

I think the angle of the first picture displays the bridge at a disadvantage to its darkness.  In the first pic it looks very light.  In the others, it looks much more like a good match.  In the  first, it stands out as looking very light for the other appointments - FB, bindings etc.  See if a different angle would display it better.

Honestly, I don't think that would help. I actually think it would make it stand out more.

If you can give us a pick with an ebony bridge to see the difference.

Now, Koa pins will really look excellent on the dark ebony bridge good idea.

I agree. looks fine. Either use the BRW or use ebony to go with your
fretboard and headstock. (Personally I like the ebony better) The Koa pins
are a great idea!!

Hesh - I like the ebony bridge better as well.  Can't wait to see the koa pins adn the finished product - I'm watching with great interest since I have a koa set in the woodpile as well.....

I see your dillema, Hesh. That is a beautiful bridge and I think it would look great with ebony pins. To me it has enough black to tie to the fb. But I also think ebony with koa pins would look good. Personally, though, I'd go with the BRW bridge with ebony pins. Maybe add BRW or KOA position markers on the fb.

I love the bridge,but I`m not real fond of the fingerboard and headstock once that bridge is applied.It seems like more color to complament that bridge would be nice.But what do I know.
