That's not an alien, that's Bob with his 3-M mask and his safety goggles on.  It is part of his self portrait stash.

That sort of looks like a mushroom cloud from a nuke.

Really nice wood though MP, what is it?

This stuff flashes like a neon sign. It has more 3d effect and flash than you can believe. Here is a pic from one I did last summer. Unfortunately FedEx did not like it so they drove a fork lift through it

I see the little rascal in the upper bout...it looks like one of the Zootman's baby pictures.

Man, that would break my heart to know someone destroyed such a work of art! Glad they paid off on it though.

Looks more like Mahatma Ghandi to me:

What do you think?

Would it be possible to start doing the wood show and tell threads in the
off topic section? I like them as much as anyone else, but they tend to
get long and the main forum is getting so busy that threads that are more
specific, thus smaller and less trafficed, get burried and disappear while
these linger around the top for a few days or more.

Is that Curly Narra? It's got a nice butterscotch hue!

Nice work Hesh Buddy!! That one ought to go in the luthiers hall of fame!! Er.. If there is one, with most of the luthiers I know, I'm pretty sure instead of a hall, its a small closet like thing!
