Following up on the pics of the cedar and cocobolo OLF SJ that I posted two weeks ago, here is a cutaway version that was built at the same time. Thanks for looking.

Soundboard: Carpathian spruce with mild bear claw
Back/sides: Flamed koa
Bridge: Ebony
Bindings: Bloodwood

Sound: Compared to the cedar and cocobolo SJ, this one has slightly more shimmer and brilliance. Its voice is very direct with a fast response. I liken the sound pallet of the spruce and koa to that of white wine, and the cedar and cocobolo to that of red wine. Sure, the colors remind me of those wines, but so do the sounds. Pick your poison--both are very appealing!

Nicely done!    Others mentioned it in your previous post, but I have to say that I really like the design and workmanship on the back of your headstock. The way you blend the veneers into the volute is outstanding. Looks like your miters are tighter than James Brown's rhythm section, too! Impressive!
