This one was taken two years ago. We do a semi-annual inspection of the Alaskan Way Viaduct. Its old and abused. I'm in the foreground. Can't be sure who's up the road there.

Christan, it was a perfect survey day. There wasn't a heatwave one to be seen. Now the inspection before it rain. Oh GAWD did it rain. My boots are Goretex and waterproofed. They gave up the ghost before lunch. I poured out a cup of water between the two of them by the end of the day. And I faired better then the rest of the crew. I dressed for the rain.

That was my former employment position. My current one doesn't afford me the same views. I'm on the 5th floor with a window, but all I can see from it is the 7 story county jail. Oh well, there has to be trade offs somewhere.
