I agree with what everyone has already said! How could I not!

I especially agree with “Simple” and “Elegant”! For me, those two words exemplify the down to
earth look of that guitar!

Hesh, I’m wondering if, because you built it very light, could that be why it sounded not so good
at first. Then after it settled in, the sound got better?

Robert

Sweet, Hesh! Did Tony finish the neck and body separately on this one? I can't see that pesky little meniscus between the heel and sides, nor the FB and top. Now it's perfect in my admittedly opinionated mind!

Excellent guitar again Hesh, I like the colour combinations. With a Euro top it should age gracefully not revealing it's true self for some time.

I always like to record the guitar and six months later record the same piece and compare the two.

Don't forget Adirondack was chosen because it was the closest they could find to European spruce.

Koa is one of my favourite woods, so the combination should end up coming together well. I only ever did one in that combination, but gave it away after a month as it was the first (and only) time I tried abalone rosette and purfling, and couldn't stand looking at it when it was finished. Still makes me shiver.

The best compliment I can give you Hesh is that this one looks almost British .

Colin

Wow, that came out fantastic! Great suggestion on the BRW bindings...
JJ this one was finished with the neck on.
Does Tony require or prefer to spray with the necks already attached? It seems to me that when the need arises to do a neck re-set that the little fillet of finish will need to be separated and possibly look ugly when reattached. Has anyone experienced this yet and how was it handled? It's quite possible that I may be overstating this as a potential problem.

In addition, to me, that meniscus or fillet of finish reminds me of the low-end Asian guitars that seem to be flooding the market. IMO, the handmade guitar would be better served if it looked more differentiated in this regard. Even though it may not be true, the fillet makes it look like the finish is thicker than it actually may be. That's my opinion...as always, I could be wrong.

Hesh...this may not even be an issue on this guitar since there seems to be no apparent fillet in the pics.

Mighty nice Hesh. I really like that bridge. Simplicity is finally dawning on my own consciousness.

The Brazilian binding looks great on the koa. I told my brother that would work.

Hesh - I, too, love the instrument.  I was amazed at the fit of your neck to the body.  Do you bolt on or dovetail?  Also, how, specificlly, did the koa change with the finish?

Thanks for sharing!

Very nice! I enjoy following how you develop as a builder, you are cranking out one beauty after another.

Well, let me finally chime in on the latest Heshian creation. Beautiful and inspiring, as always.

One simply runs out of superlatives where your guitars are concerned. I don't know which I'm more amazed with, your guitars or the speed with which you build them. Regardless, both are impressive. Congrats!

Bill

Hesh! Another fantastic looking guitar! That Koa is to die for and, as usual, the fit and finish is top drawer!!!
