Matt,

It was a pleasure meeting you at the ASIA Symposium. Your guitars looked great but I think the guitar that caught everybody's eye was the Reso...drop dead gorgeous! Pictures here on OLF are great but cant replace seeing and holding an instrument up close.

Most think that a reso has to be built from ply and be sunburst but yours showed that it can be flashy and fill a room.

While Steve can tear it up...the thing that got me to come running was when I could hear it from the other side of the room over the din of alot of other instruments, people talking and vendors peddling their wares.

I well setup and well executed reso will cut through anything and yours sung. Well done. Now you need to build a square neck to match

From the moment I first heard it, I made a point of watching to see if Steve picked it up again so I could race over to the table and hear him play it some more. It is just an amazing instrument, especially in the hands of someone who could make it sing so beautifully.

There's just no question. I will buy every album this guitar records.

You've come a long way since the days you spent hours in your room chord strumming "Eight Days a Week" on your Sears and Robuck guitar.

You've become quite an artist and craftsman, and I'm proud of you, my little brother. Keep up the great work.

Matt, sorry I didn't get there until Saturday after you had left. I was really looking forward to seeing the reso. You've even convinced my wife that I should buy more zoot wood . Hope BobC isn't following this thread.
