I still pull out the vinyl now and then when everyone's gone and I have the house to myself. Looking at the "short stack" next to the turntable is Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs, In the Court of the Crimson King, Aqualung, Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust, Seventh Sojourn, Eat a Peach, and most of the Little Feat albums including a cherished bootleg live recording that makes Waiting for Columbus look like the second rate recording it is. Ahhh, good times!

Wow, JimW- That sounds like a list of some of my all time favorite albums ,especially Derek and the Dominoes, Eat a peach, and Little Feat!   Unfortunately, I lost all my vinyls in the so called no name storm we had here in 92' We got flooded and the records were covered in saltwater and mud! And Michael-Humble Pie was a great rock band.I got to see them live in the seventies-What a show!!
I've been listening to the new Eagles cd and its real good.It sounds like the old Eagles albums,so if you like them you'll like this .

Wow Dave, I remember that storm well. My wife and I were building a house out in the country and we went out to the property directly after work Friday to piddle around, pick up construction debris, etc. Never caught a weather report, didn't know it was coming. We were sleeping in a travel trailer and the thing blew over around just before midnight. Scared the heck out of us. Had to drive back into town in some very scary weather. I Your side of the coast really got pounded... hurricane force winds out of the west and high tide to boot.

Sigur Ros released a new album called Hvarf-Heim on 11/6 with a handful
of live acoustic recordings. This is very beautiful, refreshing, complete,
and innovative music. If anyone is interested in the iTunes clips, my
favorite is Staralfur (Live)
