My bro Anthony Z performed with his new Heshtone at a gathering of the Toronto Finger Style Association last evening and was kind enough to send me some pics.

I thought that I would share them with the forum. And before anyone asks no audio was recorded so it's not available.

Here we see AZ telling the story of his new guitar :D Me? I'm not proud....... :D

Anthony reports that while he was playing a strange light started to glow and lightning looked to be coming from the guitar.

Excellent! [:Y:]

For a second, I thought it was a helium balloon tied to his G string!

I doubt that AZ wears a G-string...... :D but this is a bit of a mystery as to what the red line is. From what I can tell no strings broke.

YEAH!!!! :D :D :D [:Y:]

That beam of light was a HTF alighting from the headstock into the curtains to see if it can cause some mischief...

Hesh, I am really, really impressed. There's something so great about seeing your guitar in a performance context, and it very much looks the part.

BTW, I'd be interested if Anthony could tell us what his guitar was mic-ed up with. That looks like a Shure SM57......

We can now see the Power of Heshtone. Supercharged electricity flies from the tips of his guitars to the heavens above. Hesh'es new Robot prototype called the "Heshbot." He's still working out the bugs on the motorized tuners....lol

Hesh, you must be very excited to see one of your creations bring joy to heart and music to the ears of many listeners.

What a fun night! Playing in front of about 100 fingerstyle guitar aficionados was certainly intimidating the anxiety was certainly lessened with the comfort of having the Heshtone. This was the first time up on a stage in about 25-years since my rocker days. I was amongst three local guitarists playing Chet Atkins tunes as a warm up to a fellow by the name of Wendell Ferguson.

Folks enjoyed the story of how I came to have such a fine hand built guitar and it attracted more than its share of fondling after the show. A bunch of us OLF’ers I suspect take hand built guitars as an everyday thing. So I guess I shouldn’t have been surprised to hear comments like “wow that guitar sounds better than my Martin” -- “how come my R Taylor isn’t appointed as beautifully? – “that guitar is weightless and so responsive to the touch” – “where can you buy wood like that?” -- "I didn't realize hand built guitars can have such an amazing finish"….etc. A number peered into the soundhole and asked “Who is Hesh Breakstone?” I couldn’t resist asking a few “you’ve not heard of Heshtone guitars before?”

Sam I think the mike I spoke into was a Shure SM58 but I didn’t catch the brand of the transducer mike used for the guitar.

Alain, I played the theme from A Man and a Woman, Chet’s Ramble and Yankee-Doodle Dixie.

Hesh deserves all the credit here. The privilege is mine to have such a fine guitar and I hope my playing improves to being worthy of having such a fine guitar.

Now that is a great line! Congrats Anthony and Hesh! I'm sure we are going to have to get Hesh a new shirt size!!!!!!!! His chest is swelling with pride!

Now, BillyT or Waddy, don't take this swelling idea to any other parts of Hesh's anatomy! His Head!
