I'm finally ready, well almost. at least the guitars are done.
Here they are from left to right
Little jumbo, figured sapele/Carpathian spruce
OO, Brazilian Rosewood/Carpatihian spruce
OOO, Curly honduras mahogany/Engleman spruce
ND, East Indian Rosewood/Sitka spruce
You've seen these before but now they are finished and I'm sick if them.
All four of them worked out great and I am proud of them.
It's hard to say which I like the best. I hope they find good homes.

You should have no trouble finding homes for those guitars. They all look great John and you have definitely covered a wide range of styles, which should reflect well on you as a custom builder. If they were mine, I'd have a real hard time parting company with them.

It's really hard to say which I like the best, they all sound pretty good to me.
The Little Jumbo has that sorta modern sound ya know, Lots of fundamental and just enough harmonic to be interesting and good sustain.
The OO is just as loud as any but not as full on the bottom but lots of bite when you dig in. It's got that vintage woodness that you hear on a lot of old folk records. It's a 13 fret guitar and it's surprising how much difference that makes when playing up near those positions.
The OOO is nice and full with the sweetness you would expect of a 12 fretter and lots of harmonic content from the engleman and mahogany. if you dig into it it has some growl too.
The ND (for Not Dreadnaght) is about the demensions of that big old guitar but I think a little shaplier. It, with it's sitka top and EIR back and sides has good strong fundamental as you would think and a mile of sustain. I really like it too.

Matt, the Carpathian is great but pretty white looking. I may do a little toning on the next one to see if I can't warm up the color a little. I haven't tried any of the carp bracewood yet but will soon. I'm itchin to get something going but can't really start anything till after this show and then I have to finish my sons electric and another little project for myself that I have been putting off.John How38563.8812268519

John, they all look awesome! I particularly like the Sapele and BRW ones.

Is it just my eyes or do you have 3 different peghead types?
