UPS has made my life a happier one today by delivering an astounding set of fiddleback jatoba from the Zootman! Thank you Bob! I have a project in mind for it, but in light of another thread, I should probably just keep mum. laughing6-hehe This will be a couple down the road, but I'm thinking that this set of jatoba topped with adi will make a fine twelve fretter based upon the the OLF slope-shouldered DREADNAUGHT plans. pfft It is seriously beautiful wood and my wife loves to play dreds.

Awesome stuff Jim! Get to work on that dread. I had two Takamine dreads that I wrote with, gigged with and recorded with for quite some time. They both were lovely and I can't wait to see what you conjur up with this set! [:Y:]

Jim,

That would sure make my day as well! Gorgeous wood no matter what style of guitar you build with it. On your plans for the wood, have you considered bringing in the waist line a little? laughing6-hehe

Anthony--

Reminds me of a reoccuring conversation that my wife and I have. She keeps asking me when I'm going to get back in shape and my reply is, "but dear, round is a shape!" Eat Drink laughing6-hehe
