Sweet! I plan to try radial purfling soon. I'd love to see a closeup if you have one in your bag...

Gorgeous. The purfling is really really cool.

What went wrong with the first two tops, if you don't mind me asking?

Todd,

Very nice indeed and another one guided by the luthier's mentor Percy V. Rance! Love the purfling - wooden bling rocks!!

Beautifully excecuted! A fine job there Todd. [clap] [:Y:] [clap] [:Y:] [clap]
I love the look of that purfling. You want to give us a tutorial on that sometime? (please?!)

What does the "G" logo stand for?

Gorgeous. That purfling does look sharp, and complements the rosette beautifully.

Great looking guitar Todd and the cut-away looks fantastic too. I think that an SJ really needs a cut-away to be more pleasing to at least my eye.

Having not worked with coco yet can you tell us what was the miserable part of the experience?

Your bridge design really caught my eye for a number of reasons. First it is cool as hell - I really like it. And second it has a jet airplane vibe going for it with wings, etc. Was that intentional? Either way it's a very appropriate design from you and way cool too.

Superb guitar Todd. [:Y:] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap] [clap]

Super nice Todd. I think I like the coco purfs better than shell. Makes a great match with your rosette.

Is that a Laquer finish?

Cheers.

Very good looking guitar Todd! I'm a little confused to what radial purfling is... how is that accomplished? Looks very cool.

VERY nice Todd! The small avatar image doesn't do this guitar justice. Thanks for posting the larger images.

The radial purfs are an elegant touch which I'm sure look even better in person. Did they soak up a lot of CA or pore filling material?

I'd almost be certain I'm not the only one who hopes to see more of your completed instruments posted. Hats off to you Todd!

Todd--

The guitar is sweet! It really pays off to hang in there! Thanks for the mini-toot on the purfling. It adds a really nice touch to the guitar -- I just love the look.

Congratulations Todd! Off the bench and out the door ... I'm sure you are feeling much relief, but I hope even more pride. Beautiful work.

Todd, you certainly do build elegant guitars! I love that radial purfling and was wondering since an earlier post of your how it was done. Thanks for the explanation!

Very very very nice [clap] [clap] [clap]

Todd,

Very, Very nice [clap] [clap] [clap]

First time I've seen radial purfling. I really like the look, and since I already prefer
wood rosettes, I'm going to have to try it. So thanks for all the information in
your posts.

Very nice, Todd! I love the shape, including the cutaway. I would say that's one of the nicest florentine cutaways I've ever seen. [clap] [clap] [clap]

The radial purfling is really a nice touch. How does it bend? How did you bend it?

Great guitar all around. Your radial purfling is very cool! Great Florentine too.
I really like this guitar, Todd as everyone does! Congrats on a great job.
I would love to hear how she sounds.
