Todd--

The guitar is sweet! It really pays off to hang in there! Thanks for the mini-toot on the purfling. It adds a really nice touch to the guitar -- I just love the look.

Congratulations Todd! Off the bench and out the door ... I'm sure you are feeling much relief, but I hope even more pride. Beautiful work.

Todd, you certainly do build elegant guitars! I love that radial purfling and was wondering since an earlier post of your how it was done. Thanks for the explanation!

Very very very nice [clap] [clap] [clap]

Todd,

Very, Very nice [clap] [clap] [clap]

First time I've seen radial purfling. I really like the look, and since I already prefer
wood rosettes, I'm going to have to try it. So thanks for all the information in
your posts.

Very nice, Todd! I love the shape, including the cutaway. I would say that's one of the nicest florentine cutaways I've ever seen. [clap] [clap] [clap]

The radial purfling is really a nice touch. How does it bend? How did you bend it?

Great guitar all around. Your radial purfling is very cool! Great Florentine too.
I really like this guitar, Todd as everyone does! Congrats on a great job.
I would love to hear how she sounds.

Todd, I don't what to add to what has already been said. I haven't seen radial purfling before -- nice look -- and thanks for the explanation. One thing I really like about your SJ shape is that heel end has a rounder shape than others that I have seen which is very pleasing to the eye and I suspect would look great even without the great cutaway.

Outstanding!

Dear Mr. Todd,

I find your guitar to be one of the most bello guitars. I am having a questions for you about "radial purfling". How did you cut the all the purflings to same size?

Your friend,

Eugenio

Todd,
Great looking guitar my friend! I love that radial purfling look and have done it on guitars
occasionally since the late 80s. I actually bend the pieces in full length and then work them
onto the guitar with the other purflings and the bindings like you would the teflon strips.

I recently did one with a beautiful Bigleaf Maple rosetted and matching purfling on the top.
The funny thing was that the bindings were Eurpoean Maple with a completely different look
and figure. i wasn't sure how I'd like it, but it's really pretty cool.

Great work and a fine looking guitar for your trouble. Keep it up and enjoy.

Regards,
Kevin Gallagher/Omega Guitars
