Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I delivered my first commissioned build. Here are some pics of the event. I'm happy to report that the new owner is absolutely thrilled. He's asked me to make him a 12 string! :D

Congrats on a job well done Ric!

I love the darker lookng maple binding and end wedge. It adds a bit of class to the whole design of the guitar.

May you have many more commissions to come!

Right on Ric, looks like a very happy customer. Congrats on the 12 string too.

I pretty sure that's Koa Ken. Looks awesome doesn't it!

Thanks everyone! :-)

Ken - The bindings are actually curly Koa. Koa and EIR really compliment each other so nicely.

Dave - Yes, the plan at this point is to build the same guitar with the required modifications for a 12 string.

That looks absolutely amazing! I really like the rosette a lot and the darker bindings go perfectly.

That is a beautiful guitar Ric. I hope to be able to make something that pleasing to the eye someday.
On a totally different note, I have to say that I really admire the simplicity and elegance of your headstock logo. Sweet!

Boy, that is a beautiful guitar, you can tell the customer is absolutely taken with it. Ric, that has to be the greatest reward when you see the joy bliss that someone else experiances from the efforts of your work.

...and getting paid for it :)
