I am building another strat soon, I want to do a 3 rail pickup system with each pickup connected to a mini toggle which will coil tap the rails so I can have the best of both worlds, however, I also want to throw in a LR Baggs Piezo trem, how hard would it be to wire all of this in together? I can wire in the rails and coil tap them all to the mini-toggles, but I have never done a piezo before.
Any suggestions or thoughts?

I'm doing a Baggs piezo now. If you want a really nice system, get their Control-X. It's designed to basically drop into a Strat and give you all sorts of features. Generally, though, there's nothing about your wiring that will impact the Baggs pickup. Without the Control-X, it just goes to a blender pot, I believe. With the Control-X, it goes to their little circuit board. Whatever you do with the pickups because you send it through the Baggs system is pretty much wide open.

Piezos and magnetics need to be pre-amped before you can casually mix them. You can get some results without a preamp but the controls will be more like wierd on/off tone switches. Their impedences are very different.

Don't you need active pickups for this process?

FWIW, I just finished up the Baggs bridge with Control-X mixer. The whole setup is VERY sweet. I haven't tried it passive but I can tell you that with the Control-X it sounds killer. I played my prototype at a party just this past weekend, and it did quite a passible acoustic sound plugged directly into the PA, though the volume control was rather touchy. Plugged into a real amp, it all works just as you'd expect.

It is an expensive system, though, and if you're not installing it in a Strat you will need to do some gyrations to get it to work. I should post some pictures at some point as to how I got it all to fit, but it's not rocket science. It just takes a bit of measuring and planning.

FWIW, I believe the x-control mentioned is a mixing pre-amp that just takes the space of one of the controls in the strat pickguard, if I am correct.
