Hello everyone, I'm looking to see if anyone knows of a shop that does custom acoustic guitar necks. I remember many years ago (I think it was on this forum), there was someone who offered custom necks and I even talked to that individual about it. However, I've been looking through the forum and all my emails and can't find anything!

Thanks in advance!

+1 for Andy Birko. I used one of his neck and fret board combos on the last dred I built, the quality was excellent!

Andy Birko is it. His work is top notch. He is a sponsor here. Look above. Refresh page till u see it. He has a spreadsheet that you fill out with your specifications. It is fairly broad and includes most things u would expect. He uses high grade materials from Hibdon Hardwoods.

There are domestic makers on Squeebay selling pre-carved necks, but I haven't purchased any.

Has anyone mentioned Andy Birko https://birkonium.com ?

I have worked with a few others, but none with the attention to detail, and level of craftsmanship that Andy puts into in CNC work.

You got a lot of good suggestions here, but I would recommend Andy Birko. He’s great and has done both guitar and uke necks for me.

Doesn't Andy Birko do that sort of thing? He used to hang out here. Maybe someone remembers what his business was called.
