I have an older 48 yr old 12 string case to retire . Checked amazon but could not find a suitable sized case. . Here are the guitars dimensions. Overall length 44in. body length 21 in upper bout 13 in Lower bout 16 3/4in depth 5in . Neck 23in. anyone out there have suggestions for a case? TNX in advance.

Old cases can be pretty cool - any chance it would be worth rebuilding? Some of them have better "bones" than what you find today.

HI clay . the luthier that built this gtr in 1973 had a cardboard case fiberglassed , and then lined with a red soft material , which has eroded an fallen apart, the gtr barely fits the case and some kind of residue from the cloth/glue has tainted the finish on the gtr.in a negative way. The finish is some kind of cabinetmakers varnish prevalent in the early 70/s in van. bc . My guess is varathane oil varnish. Rebulding it is not an option, due to the poor fit. a new well fitting solid case is preferable.
