I wish I had understood Stew Mac carried the sunburst dyes before I bought those stupid rattle cans. I guess if you don't have a spray system that's your only choice. They spit and drip and are difficult to deal with.

Sanded back, used the dyes in my Mohawk lacquer. Perfect.

Little secret: Spray clear between each color. Makes minor repairs easier. Also, for trim & binding, spray clear to seal tape edge. Then apply color. Nice clean lines.

Their after market nozzles help a lot but they are still rattle cans
