John I take it that you pre-machine the 1.5deg back angle in to the cheeks as apposed to alowing the luthier to to set this at fit-up by sanding or carving. If so that is nice

Correct, Michael. There'll always be some amount of fitting to do, but I try to minumize the anguish.
