Hi. My name is Terry Williams, and I live in Grand Rapids. I just joined this fourm.

I have built three Telecasters, and was quite satisfied with that until a friend of mine showed me a slide show of his acoustic guitar he was building. Wow. I now am obsessed with learning steel string guitar building.

I was thrilled to find this site. Looks like a lot of great information. I'm sure I can learn a lot from all of you.

Thanks for the welcome everyone.

I'll try and get some good pics of the Telecasters this weekend.

Yes I am turning 50 this weekend. Doesn't feel too bad. I think turning 50 would be a good occasion to start my first acoustic guitar.

I noticed that you have get togethers in Grand Rapids on every other Tuesday. Is that still going on? Would be nice to get a chance to meet everyone. Also, how often does MGL get together. When is the next one?
