Ok, this is WAY off topic, but a friend asked me to help them out with finding folks to vote for their favorite Idol. Kitty Idol, that is. Now you may not be a cat person, but you can help out some very nice folks by voting for their cat, James McGlynn, aka Jimmy.

Here is a link to where to go to vote for to vote for Jimmy.
All you have to do is click on the link there that says "VOTE! Championship Class" and Select Jimmy and log your vote.

Here's picture of the little fuzzbucket:

Thanks everyone!

Thanks Serge!

Hey...I'll bet you'd be happy to know this is a Canadian Kitty!

Don, glad I could help you/your friends out. But in all honesty, that's one of the ugliest cats I've ever seen. He looks very grouchy.

Well, if yo won't vote for a cat, for for the guy responsible for breeding the cat.
His name is Bruce Russell, and he was recently inducted into the Canadian Wheelchair Basketball Hall of Fame.
Bruce was on the Canadian Paralympics Basketball team.

Bruce is a really great guy...a very tall, athletic, macho guy...who turns into a big softie around his cats.
He and his wife Ev are in the cat breeding thing together, which they do as a hobby.

Jimmy The Cat is highly ranked this year nationally & internationally. A vote for Jimmy is a vote for Bruce and Ev, our good friends.

Oh! Jimmy is also the uncle of my wife's cat Mikey:

Ok OK ! That's a Scottish Fold. They are a breed of cat that has floppy ears kind of like a dog. There's a recessive gene that kicks in at around 3 weeks of age that cause the cartilage in the ears to fold over like that. Gives them an owlish look.

Great picture Joe.....thanks for that and the vote...

The wood:
My wood is going on sale just as soon as I can get pictures taken and set up a web page for it all.
Look for redwood, cedar, cocobolo, Taz Blackwood, honduran mahogany, honduran rw, sapele, and other stuff I can't remember...

My vote for the earless cat is registered. Jeez, is the Maine Coon cat winning because it's the only one who looks like any cat I've known?

I think the Maine Coon has a lot of support in Japan where he lives. That's all...
