and I got to sleep in a room packed floor to ceiling full of brazilian... oh, the smell...    [/QUOTE]

and I got to sleep on the floor beside Ervin's personal workbench ... knowledge through osmosis? naaaah.

I woke up each morning staring [eye level] at three of his gorgeous guitars, stored below his bench. Wished I would have had the guts to pick one up. However, there is just something eerie about fondling a $20K guitar that kept me on the straight and narrow.

Make a guitar you will. A luthier's strength flows from the wood. Strong you are with the voicing.

Yes you are...I though I wrote that in the caption above each photo. First time I ever meet either one. Talk about two super nice people...I learned so much just from walking in their shadows for a week! Mario Beauregard, Steve Kaufman, Taku Shaksuta and Kathy Wingert were some of the other legends attending Mr. S's class. I was the lone idiot...but let me tell you, you learn alot hangin with those folks!

Make sure you tell Ervin you are part of the OLF and you heard about it here.
