My introduction to Jewel was a few years ago on PBS's Charlie Rose Show. It was just her with an acoustic guitar, and she was superb! I've been disappointed with her "band" stuff ever since, but I know she's got the goods, so there's still hope.

It's acoustic? I think she'd been around for awhile by the time I saw her on the Rose show, so I guess I missed the first album.

Great musician, she was living down here in Stephenville, Texas with her Rodeo star boyfriend and my son would see them around town while he was attending Tarlton Univerity. She is really pretty and talented.
