The last time I was in the US, I stopped in a Sears to browse tools (Sears Canada doesn't carry all the tools available in the States) and I was intrigued by the Craftsman CompuCarve. Here's a link to its description:

This looks like inexpensive CNC to me. Does anyone have any experience with it?

I tried one out at our local sears during demo days. If you want to do flat panel carving. it is OK but for really precision CNC work it is short on power width and software versatility. It is what it is, a small piece simple CNC panel carver.
