Do you masks your tuner holes and the slot in the headstock for the truss rod?

If so, how? Pictures please. Thanks.

No masking on the tuner holes - I simply reamer out the holes again after finishing.
The problem I see is when you sand between finish coats, you will have a problem with finish depth/flatness with masking around the holes.
I do put a little bit of blue painter's tape over the truss rod hole, but not right up to the edge where the TRC will be (so it's below the sanding level).

HTH,
Dave F.

Foam earplugs in the tuner holes. My truss rod access is usually inside the body.

I drill and ream after I finish and buff.

I use foam earplugs as well in the tuner holes...clean up after with reamer.
A small piece of acetate, cut slightly oversized, goes into the t'rod nut cavity.
