Hi Vincent, welcome to the OLF (although I see you joined us quite some time ago)

The OLF handme down book was an idea I had back in the beginning of the year to send a particular book around the world to different OLF members.

Take a look

Thanks Rod. I would love to participate. Whenever it gets to that point, here is my address:

Vincent M. Simokovich
3910 W. Pleasant Valley
Parma, OH 44134

I actually joined the forum in January '07, but I thought it was the MIMF that I joined. When I tried to join in August I found that the name Vinman was taken, so I opted for Vinmanslim. What a hoot when I found that the name Vinman was already taken by ME. Duh!

I posted some pictures of a piece of BRW that I have back in August. Since then I've been lurking and learning. Currently building jigs and getting ready for my first build.

Cool Vincent. I think you should be next on the list than seeing as your that close to the Can/US boarder.

Alain above is the last Eastern Canadian to have to book than it has about 18 folks in the US to go through.

So Al, can you send the book to Vincent next please. He will than send it off to the next one on the list, Tom Dowey.

All can you add Vincent's name and address on the list in the appropriate spot please

Oooops, I didn't see this thread lately and didn't add Vincent's name... Sorry.

On the other hand, I shipped it early this afternoon (30th). Expect it soon, Tom!

Enjoy!

I may have to come to A2 and slap you around a bit if you ask me again

This is what happens when you leave the lid off the everclear for several weeks.

Is the waiting list for the book as long as Wayne Henderson's waiting list yet?

Hesh, you know I'd love to come to A2 for a visit. I'm afraid it will have to wait till......... well, who knows

Bob, check out this thread about 3/4 the way down page 1, look for one of my posts that has links to the whole story.

Greg, the waiting list is not that long, but than I don't charge much for the book either

Actually, I'm still waiting for someone to say they can get to Wayne's place and have him sign the book, that would be cool.......anyone, anyone......Bueller.......Bueller......Bueller.....

Oops looks like June. Looks like it will be June 21 in 08. I'll be just back
from a fishing trip in Alaska w/my pop the week prior so I should be able to
go as planned. If you can make arrangements to get the book and send it to
me during this time I will get it signed.

Wow, that would be really cool Kahle.

If you don't mind, post again on what ever OLF hand me down book thread is going at the time and we should be able to work something out.

You might need to bring him an apple pie to get his signature though
