What is the OLF hand-me-down book?

Hi Vincent, welcome to the OLF (although I see you joined us quite some time ago)

The OLF handme down book was an idea I had back in the beginning of the year to send a particular book around the world to different OLF members.

I actually joined the forum in January '07, but I thought it was the MIMF that I joined. When I tried to join in August I found that the name Vinman was taken, so I opted for Vinmanslim. What a hoot when I found that the name Vinman was already taken by ME. Duh!

I posted some pictures of a piece of BRW that I have back in August. Since then I've been lurking and learning. Currently building jigs and getting ready for my first build.

Alain above is the last Eastern Canadian to have to book than it has about 18 folks in the US to go through.

So Al, can you send the book to Vincent next please. He will than send it off to the next one on the list, Tom Dowey.

Vincent should be sent the book from the Zootman and than he (Vincent) can send it on to JJ.

Rod, I am in VA and am planning on attending his little music festival in 08.
I think it is in July contact me sometime this summer (I'll get the exact date)
and if you ship it to me around that time I'll take it with me.

Oops looks like June. Looks like it will be June 21 in 08. I'll be just back
from a fishing trip in Alaska w/my pop the week prior so I should be able to
go as planned. If you can make arrangements to get the book and send it to
me during this time I will get it signed.

If you don't mind, post again on what ever OLF hand me down book thread is going at the time and we should be able to work something out.

You might need to bring him an apple pie to get his signature though
