Hi guys, I am ready to brace the top of my L-0. I have an old vacum frame
that was used in screen printing. I want to convert it to a press to glue
my braces. What material is used for the top. Rubber, plastic. I know
some people use a polyurothane of some kind. Some of it looks foam like
and thick. Where do I get whatever I should use. How thick? If you have
any knowledge on vacum bracing please send it my way...thanks

There are lots of vacuum clamping sources out there.
The industrial supply houses also have natural latex and vinyl membrane by the foot. (MCI, McMaster Carr, etc)
I'd lean towards natural latex if I were you.

The stuff LMI sells is just 1/32" neoprene sheet. You can probably get your local rubber supply place to give you a piece for a few bucks. I use the same stuff on my vacuum clamps.
