I want to add my thanks for the Swap. I really wanted those LMI chisels to go to a Luthier who would appreciate them. Same for the Dremel/Noble. NOW- if some old lazybones would get going, the rumor is that a few pretty nice Stanleys, cleaned and really sharp will be donated to the OLF for an auction to benefit the site. They won't, from rumors I hear, be fettled to the degree of that luscious 4 1/2 that was in the swap from Tobey but will be nice enough to be a great introduction to handplanes for some members. I hear that the delay relates to trouble getting access to his old but flat belt sander and getting the 220 belt on it and detailing them up. The guy doing this has been a bit busted up lately and has to finish a cradle for Macoy Bryan Rice, born 7:52 PM central time on the 28th of July 2006. Somebody, maybe someone from Quebec, needs to crack the whip on the old timer. Now for me, a fine day-new healthy grandson and Lie-Nielsen special order chisels arrived same day-what a coincidence. My highest and best regards to all and to all a good night. MT

Hey, congrats Mike, great news on the grandson.

I wish I had your skills on refurbishing planes. I got an old Stanley No. 6 that needs help. So, in lieu of that, I'll watch for yours shortly.

Bill
