Looking very good my friend. I really like the simplicity of it all. That binding looks killer. Once again, I think that guitar is going to come very much alive under finish!

A few questions, if you don't mind?

Traditional bracing? (scalloped) How much 'lighter' did you go on the bracing? Did you make the top/back any thinner than usual?

What's it sound like when you tap that box...

Predictions: I think that guitar is going to be a canon, BUT, it will have an excellent overall balance. The bass should be killer!

Will this be your first experience with a brazillion bridge?

Looks fantastic Hesh. I'm anxiously awaiting the final product, and I'm chomping at the bit to try it out. Maybe in September?

Cool looking guitar, Ropey Mahogany with Adirondack. I have no problem with the term Dreadnaught or Dreadnought, or in my case Dred Not!

Rustoleum is good, but I've had better success with WD40. Slickest neck you'll ever feel! Still use Rustoleum on the strings, though.

Very nice Hesh! I think I am in love with that rope figured mahogany! I saw that on bob's site a while bakc and didn't think it would look right on whatever I was building at the time. May have to look again....

BTW, do you carve your own necks or is that from Stew Mac? Looks just like some I have laying around that I picked up from Martin a few years ago.

That's gonna be a great singing box bro! I love that rosette and the elegance of you combo, i wanna try it out too! That BRW sure will stand out nicely, i just can't wait to see her under finish, another one to die for!

Aiming at less than 0.100 huh,0.085? i think i'm gonna do the same on my next geetar. On no 2, i sanded my plates down to 0.113 before gluing them to the rim but they probably came down to 0.105 after all the sanding that was done prior to finishing, they are still plenty thick and stiff.

No. My fingers keep slipping off of the knobs when I try to tune. I use Titebond II. It never gets hard, yet is resistant to moisture, so it stays in the gears for years.

Hesh, that roping in the African Mahogany back is fantastic! The pattern is very appealing and adds character. I'm afraid I'd want to show the back off more so than the front.

Very nice and stately rosette. Of course, I'm a sucker for big contrasts in wood textures and coloring.

I'd be interested in how that roping looks in the side presentation.

I don't know how you do it Hesh, but IMVHO, every subsequent guitar you make is nicer than the one before.

Are you sure you want to move out of the bathroom? The move might ruin your mojo!

Hesh, you are amazing. Your ability to live on the OLF, hold down a job, and then make--what?--5 guitars or more a year is nothing short of amazing. You must not sleep.
