Well, Bruce, looks like you got the shop in good shape. Very anxious to see it.

Looking forward to it. I don't have any techniques or anything to demonstrate, but I'll bring my #1 in progress, which is an unbound body right now, cocobolo parlor with a spruce top. You guys can tell me what I've done wrong so far. :)

I've also got the slotted headstock cutting jig from luthiertool if anyone wants to see it in real life if they've been considering getting one. I haven't actually used it yet.

I can't wait! I'll be leaving here in about an hour or so. Bringing the last one that I finished. I have three hanging in the shop that are almost done but not far enough along to really show to anyone.

They're gonna find me hanging in the shop , if this heat wave doesn't let go.

I'm bringing full size printouts of that 1937 Martin 0-18 14-fret body outline that GD Armstrong traced and I put it into CAD, for those that are interested.

Sounds great, I'm headed out to procure eats and maybe a guitar that belongs to a buddy I built. See ya'll when you get here. PS That's an old pic, but my wife and sister helped me last night put stuff in order. So at least you can walk around the workbench now, or even see it... grin.

Well, got a call from an Okie about three this afternoon. He watered his horse at the Hampton Inn. We went for a ride in the countryside to pick up one of my builds......

Was I shocked when I put it up on the workbench for a set of strings..... the bridge was pulling off the red cedar top of that Dread Not! dang.... I mean Darn.... I mean shoot.... Okay heck...

Hey fellas, Dave Rector is okay. And he builds a mean guitar. Ohhhhh the detail work on this instrument. Williams, he built one of your binding jigs he sez.... cool. Maybe when I go to OKie City I can see it.

Pics to follow. Some how I deleted the one of Dave in front of the Marshall Tucker Band tonight. Lost a bunch of shots... maybe I can find them, they weren't in the trash can either????

g'night. See you guys tomorrow.Dickey38948.0480555556

Hi Bruce and folks!!!

I hope you all have a great time talking wood and playing guitars and of coarse the good eats! I can smell the burgers from here.

Sorry I can't be there with you all.

Have a great time Bruce. I know you will be a great host.
God Bless and enjoy.
