Okay, after a quick check with Lance, the luthier's bios section is still active. IF you are reading this, you are probably part of the ninety percent of the OLF that do not have a bios posted. That's okay, but here you have an opportunity to rectify that.

You can email your bios to Lance, or as we did last March '06, you can post it here and he can permanentize it by putting it in the Luthier's Bios section from your post.

A picture, a little about your day job, how you got into guitar making, a bit about yourself and family if you like. Also where you live and other interests. That's all there is to it. Check some of the current Bios for other ideas.

There are currently 905 member signups on the OLF. A mere 87 luthier types have put up their bios over the past number of years. So, that means we need at least 20 1/2 Luthiers Bios pages with 44 luthiers per page.
Who'll lead us off? Let's see, wouldn't this be an autobiography if you write it yourself?

Bruce, we should also mention that high accomplishment in lutherie is not a prerequisite for inclusion in the Bio section. It doesn't matter if you are a veteran builder or haven't even started your first instrument. If you're a member here, you're a wanted person! Show us your mug and tell us as much or as little about yourself and your passion for lutherie as you want. It's fun!!!

You bet Carlton MMMMMMMMMMMMM!

We take Newbies, rank beginners, or wannabes, right!

Also welcome, pessimists, know-it-alls, and democrats and republicans, only we don't ask, so you don't tell, right?

Mainly I think we are looking for a few good men (and women) who have a keen interest in acoustic guitar building.
