whist there are those who might agree with you, there still exist what are referred to as reserve powers which can be exercised by the monarch. there is a former prime minister of australia who discovered this to his shock, horror and dismay when he was sacked by the crown in the person of the queen's governor general. created a fair bit of grist for the mill of constitutional law scholars, not to mention the chattering classes.
