I was working on a storm door once and had the window part raised up. I was trying to get the screen put back in when the window fell. Cut the tip off both thumbs at the same time. Went to the doctor and he and his nurse kept whispering, then they finally laughed and said "okay, how'd you do this, we thought we had seen everything but both thumbs at the same time?"

Took five stiches in each to get usable thumbs again.

In 1972, using spray cans, I sprayed my motorcycle with laquer, in my bedroom, with no protection at all.

Of course, that was before it was dangerous.
