I just wanted to let everyone know where we're at with these.

The extrusion dies are expected back from the die-maker any day. The extruder has put a rush on our order, so that as soon as they get the dies, they should start "pushing parts" as they call it. The anodizer has also assured me that he can get them turned around quickly, so hopefully we'll be shipping them shortly.

Despite pre-sales of several thousand of these, we're still a ways away from having this thing pay for itself, so if you were on the fence about getting some, please consider jumping in.

I've made the clamps available in both sizes and styles at my store in individual quantities, so if you'd like a smaller quantity or you'd like to add to your order, you can do so atwww.cncguitarparts.com

Click here to go directly to the clamp page.

There are only about 18,300 left, so you'd better hurry.

Sooooooooo

Are you still offering them at the 30 for $50 get 50 deal as before?    Or would we be to late for that?

There was never a 30 for $50 deal...if you search the archive the deal was that the pre-order price is $2.00 each with the full price when shipping moving to $3.00 per clamp. The price on John's website at the moment is the lower $2.00 price.

What was offered to OLF members as part of the pre-order was free shipping in North America and for an order of 100 clamps the inclusion of 10 of the 1/4" smaller clamps for mando's or cutaways.

I think I got the details right John...is this correct and if an OLF member orders 100 can they still get the $2.00 price, free shipping and 10 1/4" clamps?

I did not act on it when you first posted about it in July but more than once while building I have thought that these are the clamps I need...I have used all of the other alternatives and these look the best...

Yes soooo sorry about the mis information John first of all and to others who have read this post.

I have missrepresented John and his initial good will to all of us OLFer's. Please forgive my poor reading skills and mis-communication.

Yes, Shawn you are correct that the original deal was 30 clamps for $100 with a bonus of 20 more for the initial order and if you were to get 100 clamps for $200 than an additional 10 1/4" clamps were thrown in.

So, sorry again everyone who is getting really excited about this amazing deal (which is still an amazing deal at the original time offered).

Anyway, what's the price now John, $2.00 per as stated on your site?Rod True38990.6838194444

Shawn is right. The deal is $2 a clamp. If you buy 100 clamps, you get 10 1/4" for free. There isn't a spot on the web site to specify that, but everyone who orders that quantity will get the free ones.

Thanks,

John

John, it looks like the picture on your site is of the straight clamp, no?
Do you have a shot of the angled variety?

Steve
