Fired up my propane today. When I went to open the valve on the big tank something scurried across my hand. Inside the big metal "cap" was a mouse nest with several tenants. I think they were less than please when I knocked the nest to the gound.

Interesting information about the white stuff:   'Don't eat yellow snow'!

(a little northern humour)

It's still in the 80's here and I'm getting tired of the heat! I should go up north and check it out. It's been many moons since I've seen snow.

Here in Houston, we got the southern tail of the storm that has snowed in the zootman. Hi temp outside right now is 68F. This is the coolest it's been since last March. Bout time! I'm outa here in a little while to go tool around on the bike (an old BMW R90/6). Geez, I may even have to put on a jacket!

Best,

Michael

Still snowing and we've had over 20 cm now. This is unnussual even for here. Normally it snows a few CM then warms up in October and the real snow comes in November. What Happened to Global warming

It was so cold here on Wednesday I almost put on a sweater to walk to work from the parking lot. It was like 60!   Brrrrr.
We keep the snow where it belongs - in the mountains.

Where i use to live, they did not have a truck in the village to load the snow, most of the winters, the snowbanks were about 6-8 feet high because they had to pile it up to be able to park their cars in their driveways, the landscape was rather lunar like!

tired of Snow, With Snow mobiling, hockey and ice fishing it's hard to get tired of it. By the way, we are on our 5th day of snow now, very strange for this early in the season.

James, sounds like you live in my neighborhood. It looked the same at 11:30 as it did at 7:30 this morning. Its 1 now and I can't see 300 feet down the road. I love it.

Well fellas I wish I could say I'm sorry to hear about your cold weather, but I can't, because I'm not .

Winter for you means summer for me . Bring it on!

Not much guitar building going on tho, too busy putting in a deck around the pool.   PaulB39007.7982291667

We finally got a couple of days of much needed rain, the storm hitting the east coast now I beleive. Temps are suppose to be in the mid to upper 70's here for the next few weeks. Nothing like October in the Woods of East Texas. We saw some snow flurries last year that lasted a few hours with no accumulation. If we get 1/2" down here the schools, cities and businesses shut down, no one knows how to drive in ice or snow here so we are all better off.
