There are so many great builders out there willing to take chances and push the envelope. One of the most inspiring for me is Howard Klepper (see OLF bios). Fantastic stuff. Add the fact that he's an all-round great guy and very ready and willing to share information, and you've got a real winner. I'm continually inspired by his sense of design and absolutely fantastic workmanship.

You are absolutely correct. Looking at Howard's guitars for me, is like listening to Christopher Parkening play Bach. Something that I will likely not be able to do with the same kind of skill and artistry, regardless of my efforts. But, both provide great inspiration!
