Hey I hear that there has been some shakeing and quakeing going on in your neck of the woods.

Madam Pele is angry ehh?
I was there in `84 when Mona loa went off...it was really something.

Actually I don't think it was Pele this time. It happened out in the ocean between Kona and Puako. What a way to wake up!!! Mother nature sure has a way of reminding us who's in charge, doesn't she?

BTW, we've been having tiger sharks around the harbor mouth the last few summers. Lot's of sightings but they don't seem to bother anyone, just come around to take a peak at you. Wasn't that where you use to dive when you were here?

yes, right out on the point at the harbor entrance on the kona side.
diving alone most of the time,I am really glad I never saw one of those tigers. I cant belive I did that actually.

I wonder if there will be a tsunami?

Nope, no tsunami although I heard the surf was kind of funky. Perhaps do to all the tremors afterwards.
