Well I have completed lucky #13. Still need to break in and have action
adjusted etc. From it's earliest signs I think this will be a very nice
balanced guitar. It was a commission that my mom ordered for my
nephew who is a great guitar player at only 14 years old.

Here are the specs.
000 14 fret 24.9 scale   4.5 depth at end block
Cocobolo B&S from LMI - Some of the nicest sides I have ever seen!!!
Lutz top from Shane. Got a love the lutz!!!!
Koa rosette. Red white blue maple purfling and rosette boarder.
Ebony Bridge and fingerboard.
Waverly Tuners. Gold with ebony knobs
Tony F. - Cat urethane finish.... What can I say.!!!!!!
MY FIRST GUITAR WITH THE NEW HEADSTOCK LOGO.... My wife drew it
and John W. cut it with his CNC. I like it I hope you all do too. Better
than my flat dog.

Sorry for the large picts, I have a hell of a time with photoshopazimmer139025.8295601852

Absolutely stunning Andy! That is one lucky 14 yr old. I'm sure he will cherish this for many years. I love everything about it, and really cool new design for the logo. Great job!

Wow, Andy, another beauty. Man, I like what you do with coco. Very clean and elegant looking. Deep and rich from top to bottom. Like your logo, too.

Thanks for the nice words.
I take my picts in the backyard. I take them in the morning in San Diego
where I have bright light but a coastal marine layer. It is like a filter to
prevent a lot of the glare and shadows. I just tape some seamless photo
paper to the wall and use my little digital camera. That is it. The key is the
overcast lighting and the backround paper.

Andy,

Beautiful work. You're gettin' pretty darn good at this guitar buildin' thing! This one's likely to make not only its first owner happy, but a couple-three generations down the road, too.

BTW, this confusion comes up often--if it's got a 24.9" scale, it's a OOO, not an OM. OM's are always 14-fret, 25.4 scale, 1 3/4" nut. Any deviation from those features makes it a OOO. I'm shutting up now.

Really looks great, nice in every area. I agree, this 14 year old is pretty lucky. Do you have a closeup of the Rosette?

That coco is just mint!

No breaks in the neck this time, I hope!

Andy mate you really nailed this one!

Bravo

I like the new logo even though it bears a strinking resemblance to the terror of my backyard, who today kept running off with any tool I put down while I was trying to build a new deck.PaulB39026.1254513889

Free Zoot????
Sorry, that was a bait and switch.
Clearly if I put "World Champion St. Louis Cardinals" in the subject line, no
one would read the thread!!!!!!
Putting free zoot in the title forced everyone to read it
