Well, this guitar took me longer to finish than I expected. The double top was a curve ball, the initial top got stepped on by accident and the pearl took way too long to arrive! Besides that eveything else went according to plan.
Now the box is ready for finishing and turned out pretty nice. (I'll finish the nech with gunstock finish later!)

Lance, I think I'll post this one to your FIRST GUITARS thread...what do you think?

Fantastic job Peter! I really like the soundport and the bindings complement the dark woods perfectly...

How do you plan on finishing it?

I'm really anxious to hear your impressions on the double top (tone wise)... Very interesting concept.

I have heard that sinkerwood can have some beautiful iridescent shimmers in the grain.

Don, check out John Mayes DVD on neck set up. He goes over the whole process very well. That would be my best suggestion.

Yup! Prior to getting John's DVD I used the same neck design but I definetely got new ideas from his DVD.
Highly recommend it!
