removing wax from wood

Gobble, Gobb..AHHHHHHHHHHH
Purchased som 5x5x2-3" bowl blocks from Rockler-look great for rosettes, but whole block coated with wax. Wood is wet. What is best way to remove wax-seems sandpaper would clog like crazy.

I use a scraper, Bob, then you could probably wipe it with naptha to remove any residual wax.

Yep, scraper...
My Grizzly oscillating sander deck had 1/8" of oily wax on it, YUCK! A dull scraper and a rag with some paint thinner made it shine.

Never use solvents atempting to remove wax from wood because if it dissolves the wax it will soak it deeper into the wood. Use hot water and soap.
