A couple of weeks ago I praised LMI for the amazing speed of service they gave to this humble English builder. Well just to balance things up a little can I now praise Stew Mac.

I placed a web order with Stew Mac on the afternoon (British time) of Wednesday, 22nd November. They managed to pick the order, get DHL to collect it and fly it across the Atlantic, then navigate the crowded UK roads to my front door by this Morning Friday 24th November. From order to delivery from one side of the Atlantic to the other in less than 48hours. Just amazing service. Thanks Stew Mac and DHL.

Colin, I totally agree with on both accounts.

LMI have speedily replied with the information I needed from them within the hour. Very polite too.

Stewmac I have had more dealings with; Very efficient and informative telephone manner, brilliant e-mail communication, and once my wire tranfer cleared (I don't have a credit card for obvious reasons) the order arrived within three days.

I need to add that this was over the weekend too. Money cleared Friday afternoon, parcel first thing Monday morning.

I was stunned.

thats amazing (stew amc) .. unfortunately I am just across the border and I could drive the ten hours there and back, play a few rounds of golf while I am there, and still beat the service that I get with USPS and Canada Post. At least its cheap.
