I finished this one on turkey day.
Brazilian / Italian 12 fret dred.

this is going to be my personal flat picking box, it is the first guitar out of all the guitars I have made that I am keeping for myself. It is a really nice feeling too keep one.

thanks for looking, Matt

Very nice Matt! Stunning figure on the Brazilian and the blending of the finish on the neck is first class. Post a sound clip when you can, I'd love to hear it.

Matt that is one fine guitar. Everything is perfect. The fit of the nut and other fine details, like the white endcap on the neck heel are really nice. Congratulations on your procurement from such a fine luthier.

Thanks very much guys.
my finger tips are sore from playing it all day yesterday, and I must resist doing the same today so I can start another guitar.

Lars, I use nitro...its the only finish I have learned to use so far, and I love doing the shading and sunbursting with it, for me, that is the fun part.

I will hopefully have this one with me for a while, so you guys can get a chance to play it, thanks again.

Ok maybe it is just a banjo wounder..and a mando muncher....but they will certainly know im there!
