Nice Serge. I would compliment you more but I need to make a kitchen run see ya.

Go to the hardware store and get some roller bearings on the handle side of that shaft. When that plastic bushing goes it will want to dig in quick. Should cost you all of a $ or two.MichaelP39057.4683564815

Nice idea, Serge!

Suggestion: get your wifie a new one for Christmas. Maybe she won't mind too much then

Best,

Michael

Ok thanks guys but before everyone believes that i was mean with my wife, let's say that i kind of asked permission to take the dough roller with me down to the shop last night!

I think i'll by her a beautiful marble one with a marble tray for Christmas! Thanks Michael McBroom

Thanks in advance for your hospitality Dave but supposedly, i heard through the branches that i snore like a snowmobile so i wouldn't want my Florida pal to go through this!

Thanks Michael, will check this out!

Thanks Alan, yes, you have a very good eye, those were quick sketches of what's coming in the near future, i feel too cramped in there and will give a hard blow to some shelves , stay tuned!
I love it!!   You can use it on an intruder too.
TJK
Why would you want to sand an intruder?

Good thinking, Serge! Now, let's roll!!!

I have one of those Grizzly sanders. It is inflatable so it works great on neck heels and peghead transitions where you need some give.

Many thanks my friends!

Glad it inspires some of you guys to make one too!

Barry, i can't wait to try it out on neck carving, i might add a foam or cushiony material under the sandpaper for that, thanks!
snip

Before your wife could beat you with the rolling pin and now she can test it out and sand your face, or worse, off for taking her rolling pin.......
Well, that's one way to defuzz a bear. Sounds painful though.

very innovative...a great adaptation of the original idea, which is how all great jigs, forms and tools evolve.

Wow!

I don't know if any of you guys saw the news from Gatineau Quebec, but I read about a woman that clubbed her husband to death yesterday after he destroyed her rolling pin! Poor Serge must of got it!

Just as I thought, Serge would be posting from the grave without skipping a beat!
