Here's one I'm working on currently. Gave it a quick wipe down of Naptha to let the zoot pop a bit. Thanks Bob, Great stuff.

Paul,
Wow great ZOOT. How does Bob C. find such great wood?
Also your usual great workmanship is inspiring. What will you bind this one with? Ebony?
Thanks for the Pic.

Thanks guys for the nice comments.
Yes, Keith, ebony it is. The port is in black fiber as I couldn't get any wood to make that bend. I was trying to bend EIR over a soldering iron and still couldn't make it happen.
Tracy: it isn't sold yet. For Healdsburg.

Paul,
How about posting more pics as you continue through this build. I'm sure we would all love to watch your progress.
Thanks, Keith

Paul great looking guitar my friend. The wood is awesome but as I said before it's the work of the talented builders on this forum that bring the wood to life. Please send me more pic's. Bobc38462.8009837963

You know, Bob, it makes it a whole lot more fun to build when you know the final result will look like this rather than some plain jane board.
Thanks for the nice comments guys.

I'm speechless! That's an absolutely AWESOME example of the craft! Now, I'll email you with my address and you can donate it to the "private" luthier's museum I just started. Today. Like 5 seconds ago. Really, you'll be the first piece on display.

Wow Paul! I must have missed this the first time around! What a fine example of craftsmanship - and a complete justice to Bobs Zootness!

Whats the side port bound with?

Lance, I had to bind it with black fiber. Nothing else would take the bend. I think the next one will get bound before the side gets bent as that will prevent me from having to make a crazy compound bend in the already fragile little piece of wood.
