Brian from Allied Lutherie sent me a nice email yesterday let me know that he and Todd would like to extend all registered OLF'ers a "Next Tier Discount"

For example, when ordering a set of   Gotoh, "organic", gold, 18:1 (PTG510G), the regular price for 1-5 is $70. Forum members will receive the next quantity price break of $65. This special forum discount is available for all our regular items. It doesn't apply to any special priced sale items.

The only other thing is that all orders must meet our low $25 minimum order.

Id personally like to thank Todd and Brian as well as all the rest of Allied crew for extending us this discount -

Take advantage Folks!

Lance

PS- you MUST follow up your order with an email letting them know your taking advantage of the OLF discount in order to GET the discount.

Somehow, it feels good to have companies like Allied do this. It makes me feel special to be part of a group of builders like this, that they would do that. It's a great gesture on Allied's part. We should say thanks by buying some stuff!

Thanks Allied. We do appreciate your support. I received my shipment of EIR "opportunity" wood and was very happy with the quality. You sure you picked it from the right pile? I'll definitely be doing more business with Allied in the future.

Wow, thanks alot for the support.

Perhaps this is just the beginning of other such offers and there should be a permanent site location, for on-going discounts and such, so that we don't forget these when the time comes to order or if we didn't catch a particular thread.

If you look at the rotating adds on the forum main page you'll see a text line under the banner - thats where any and all current discounts and sales will show. For excample AC Tone woods has a sale for OLFers right now -There is a code you enter when you check out that gives you a nice 10% discount - Goodman guitar woods has a Cuban Mahogany Sale! $125.00 per set 3 for $300.00 Free Shipping! so watch closely :0) Ill be adding the rotating adds to the active topics view soon.

I have only good things to say about Todd And Brian and the folks at Allied. I was at their facility a few years a go and they were so nice and very helpful. They let me and a few other guys pick thru the wood and gave us a great price to boot. I think they are a class act and certainly appreciate the OLF discount. THANKS TODD! THANKS BRIAN!

One of my guitar building students placed an order for 10 sets of Allied's opportunity grade EIR. It was very nice wood and the price was unbeatable!
